HOW IT HAPPENED
- Bridgewater started early in the match on the attack earning a corner that resulted in a Hannah Nugent shot that was blocked. About two minutes later, Skyler Daum snuck in a shot off a nice pass from teammate Lyric Birkley to go up 1-0. Following the goal, the Eagles' defense stood strong not allowing a shot until the 12-minute mark and Carlee Gaboury held the net down with a stop.
- Leading up to 30-minute mark, BC fired a multitude of shots but were not able to see the back of the net. Daum scored again in the 32nd minute with a pass from Alicia Keo, who recently checked in, going up 2-0. Bridgewater fired two more shots before the ending of the first half but did not fall.
- Rolling over into the second period Gaboury had a huge save after a shot from the Randolph attack. The Eagles went on another run of shots following the 55th minute. It was not until Kendall Garza fought for a ball just outside the box as a defender and the Randolph goalkeeper collided that the BC attack broke through. Garza dribbled in and put her shot into the back of the net to make it 3-0.
- BC kept the WildCats silent with the teams last shot coming just seconds over the 73rd minute. Near the final ten minutes Hannah Nugent fired a low ball with the help of Katelyn Seagraves to score. The final goal came from a deep shot by Birkley that dropped in the lower right side for a Bridgewater shutout victory, 5-0.
