How it HappenedÂ
- Bridgewater broke out early out of the gate as Katelyn Seagraves fired a shot wide of the cage just over 20 seconds in. Seagraves had one more chance off of a corner kick. The ball in deflected and fell to her feet and the senior just missed wide of the cage. Roanoke flipped the field, but a turnover forced by Alicia Keo and Hannah Nugent gave BC possession and Lyric Birkley found it. The sophomore dribbled in and was all alone with the keeper and made a move then fired away and made it 1-0 BC less than five minutes in
- After the score Roanoke got the offense going. A shot from Cameron Shackford found the cage and Carlee Gaboury stepped up to make the save. BC was inches from extending the lead on a corner kick as Katherine King went for the high kick but just sent it over the ross bar of the open net. After another Birkley shot on goal Roanoke flipped the field and Morgan O'Neil took the long pass and dribbled in and scored to knot the game midway through the first half. Each team traded chances but neither gained an edge sending the game to the half tied at 1-1.
- Bridgewater wasted no time getting the offensive going out of the break. BC earned a corner kick and Skyler Daum sent the ball in. King did not miss the opportunity as she got and flicked the header into the back of the net to make it 2-1. After the kick off another midfield win led to a shot from Keo that was saved by Taylor Gallik. Birkley added an insurance goal in the 47th minute as another turnover fell to her feet. The Ohio native driblled past the Maroon defense and made a move past Gallik to open the goal and score easily to make it 3-1.
- Roanoke coach Phil Benne adjusted his personnel after the goal and it resulted in ultiple shots for the visiting side. Gaboury made stops all the way up until a 70th minute foul gave the Maroons a free kick in a favorable spot. Shackford took the kick and MC Petrucelli put the body on the line for Roanoke. Petrucelli dove and headed the ball in while completely suspended in the air past Gaboury and in to make it 3-2.
- The pressure from Roanoke did not cease as Benne's push for offense satyed in full effect. The Eagles were able to make stops from both the field players and from Gaboury. Laura Narby had a chance to extend the lead, but it nailed the post. Petrucelli tried to tie it up in the final four minutes but a save from Gaboury sealed the deal.

Match NotesÂ
- Birkley's two tally's move's her to 13 goals on the season for a career high. King scores her second goal of the season and her first since sending a corner directly in during the loss to Swarthmore.
- Seagraves and Birkley led all players with four shots each. All four of Birkley's were on target.
- Gaboury made eight saves in the win while the keeper tandem for Roanoke combined for five.
- BC won the shot battle 19-15, but Roanoke held a 10-9 edge in shots on goal. Bridgewater maintained much of the possession resulting in a 9-2 lead in corner kicks.
