GREENSBORO, N.C. – On Wednesday afternoon the Bridgewater College women's soccer team picked up a 2-0 win over Greensboro.

How It Happened
- Bridgewater applied pressure early with two corner kicks in a 20 second span in the third minute of the game.
- Bridgewater added a flurry of shots around the 20th minute. Ashley Sabatino fired her shot and it was turned aside. Kaia Richardson followed hers with one of her own that was also turned aside. Alicia Keo added the final shot on goal that was also turned aside by Sofia Pagnamenta.
- In the closing seconds of the opening half the pressure paid off with twelve seconds remaining as Megan Palm fired a shot and buried it to put BC on the board 1-0.
- In the 57th minute BC added to the lead as Keo found the back of the net from Sabatino for her second goal in as many games to put the Eagles ahead 2-0.
- In the 83rd minute Greensboro got their first shot on goal of the game that was stopped by Carlee Gaboury.
Match Notes
- Pagnamenta stopped 10 shots on the afternoon for the Pride. Gaboury saved the only shot she faced on the evening.
- Keo added a game high seven shots including four on goal. Hanna Randolph added three shots as well, all were on goal.
- Bridgewater out shot Greensboro 26-2 including a 17-1 advantage in shots on goal.
- The Eagles also held an 8-2 advantage in corner kicks.
- Palm's goal today is the first of her collegiate career.
