Alicia Keo's penalty kick goal gave the Bridgewater College women's soccer team a 1-0 win over St. Mary's on Saturday afternoon.

How It Happened
- Bridgewater opened the game with an early chance in the fifth minute with three shots and two corner kicks in a two minute span. Off of the second corner kick Madison Ferrone got a shot off but it was saved by a St. Mary's defender to keep the game scoreless early.
- In the 17th minute Kendall Garza got a shot on net for BC but Audra Haines made the stop to keep it scoreless.
- Bridgewater had another chance in the late stages of the first half with a corner kick in the 31st minute. Hanna Nugent got a shot off for BC but once again another St. Mary's defender kept it from going into the open net. Destiny Zapata got a shot off in the rush but Haines was able to make the stop.
- St. Mary's had a scoring chance in the 58th minute but Ella Raines' shot sailed high above the crossbar giving Carlee Gaboury a goal kick.
- In the 66th minute the Eagles had another chance as Nugent rifled a shot over the crossbar. A few seconds later Keo was fouled in the box resulting in a yellow card. On the ensuing penalty kick, Keo buried it to break the tie and put BC on top, 1-0.
- In the 84th minute St. Mary's got one last chance on its first corner kick of the game, but failed to put a shot on net.
Match Notes
- The Bridgewater defense did not allow a shot on goal in the win. St. Mary's totaled only four shots and all four were off target.
- Keo, Nugent and Garza all led the Eagles in shots with three each.
- Gaboury picked up the win in net going the full 90 minutes for Bridgewater
- The Eagles held a 22-4 advantage in total shots and 6-0 in shots on goal.
- Keo's goal moves her career total to 12 and career points to 28.
