BRIDGEWATER, Va. - The Bridgewater College women's tennis team picked up a convincing non-conference win on Monday over Mary Baldwin, winning 8-1. 

The Eagles opened up sweeping the doubles highlighted by a 8-2 win at the second slot by junior Emma Nesselrodt and freshman Grace Knighton.

Both Nesselrodt and Knighton added wins in singles at the No. 4 and No. 6 spots. Nesselrodt winning 6-2, 6-2 and Knighton 6-1, 6-2.

Grad student Rachel Crawford picked up a 6-3, 6-0 win at the No. 2 spot to clinch the match for BC.

Bridgewater will be back in action on Sunday, Feb. 27 as they take on Hanover College in Hilton Head, S.C.
