BRIDGEWATER, Va. – The Bridgewater men's soccer team took care of Ferrum for the second time on the season 2-0 on senior day.

How It Happened
- Bridgewater had multiple chances in the opening minutes with three corner kicks in under a ninety second span. BC was able to get two shots off but none on goal.
- Ferrum registered the first shot on goal in the 16th minute but it was turned away by Charles Scweinefuss. The Eagles took the momentum the other way as Eric Ramirez was able to find Thomas Vik and the sophomore fired his shot past William Winters to put Bridgewater in front 1-0.
- Around the 33rd minute BC had another opportunity. Matthew Shelor put a shot on net that was knocked away by Winters but resulted in a BC corner kick. Vik sent his kick in just outside the box to Lestath Savage who snuck his shot just inside the far post to make it 2-0 Bridgewater.
- Ferrum had their best chance of the game in the 47th minute after a yellow card on Justin Scott gave the Panthers a free kick from just outside the box. Callum Harris sent the free kick to the goal but the stop was made by Schweinefuss.
- In the 50th minute Bridgewater had three corner kicks in a matter of minutes. BC only got one shot off during the run as Josh Gilliam sent a header to the very top of the goal but Winters just knocked it over the cross bar.
- Ferrum had one last push in the final minute but a bad pass ended the run giving Schweinefuss a goal kick as time expired.

- Shelor led all players with four shots on senior day and Alex Martinez also added three.
- Winters made eight saves for Ferrum while Schweinefuss made two for Bridgewater.
- Bridgewater held a 16-5 advantage in shots and a 10-3 edge in shots on goal.
- The Eagles also held a 14-6 edge in corner kicks.
- Savage scored his fifth goal on the season leading Bridgewater in the scoring department. Vik scored his first collegiate goal and added an assist.
