BRIDGEWATER - The Bridgewater College women's tennis opened its spring season indoors at the Doug Will Tennis Center on Sunday and the Eagles blanked Mary Baldwin University, 9-0.

The Eagles won all nine matches without losing a game, taking each set 8-0.

Winning singles matches for the Eagles, in order, were Whitney Kiser, Nicole Shifflett, Stephanie Barton, Rachel Crawford, Ashley Price and Caroline Edwards.

Shifflett and Barton won at No. 1 doubles, Kiser and Crawford took the win at No. 2 while Price and Edwards teamed up to win at No. 3.
