Box Score 2 GETTYSBURG, Pa. - Bridgewater College rallied from two sets down
Saturday to defeat Gettysburg College in five sets at the
Gettysburg Blast tournament.
Gettsyburg controlled play early against the Eagles winning the
first two sets 25-19 and 25-20.
The Eagles then battled back to even the match, winning the next
two sets 25-20 and 25-22. Bridgewater jumped out to a quick 6-2
lead in the fifth set and rolled to a 15-6 victory to take the win.
Katie Baker and Erika Dirnagl led the attack with 10 kills each.
Tricia Davis finished the contest with 37 assists and 20 digs.
With the victory, the Eagles snapped their six-match losing
streak.
In the final match of the tournament, the Eagles fell to Mary
Washington in four sets. Mary Washington won by scores of 25-21,
21-25, 25-23 and 25-18.
BC senior Tricia Davis was named to the all-tournament team.
