Bridgewater College improved to 4-0 in the ODAC and 15-1 overall with a doubleheader sweep Saturday at Randolph College. The Eagles won the opener 4-1 and then won the second game by a score of 7-2.

In the opner Hillary Rees was 3-for-4 and Caity Butler was 2-for-4 with a homer to lead the offense.

Ashley Gills picked up the win in the circle with four scoreless innings. She allowed four hits and no runs while striking out two and walking none. Summer Ramsey picked up the save by pitching the final three innings. She allowed four hits and one run while striking out one and walking none.

In the second game, Rees was 2-for-4 and Butler belted another homer to spark the Eagles.

Lindsay Lam was the winning pitcher as she allowed just three hits and one run in four innings. Lam struck out four and did not walk a batter. Becky Schmidt earned the save, allowing four hits and one run in three innings. Schmidt struck out one and did not walk a batter.
