Greg Spector

Greg Spector begins his third season at the helm of theBridgewater College volleyball program. His two-year recordwith the Eagles is 36-25.

Spector brings a wealth of coaching experience to theBridgewater position. He has coached at various levels, includingcollege, high school, club and international teams.

In 2008, Spector was the head women's volleyball coach for MaccabiUSA Sports and recruited nationally for top-level players to playat the international level. He served as the team's assistant coachin 2001. Additionally, Coach Spector was a member on the 1989, 1993and 1997 squads.

From 2003-2005, Spector was an assistant coach at Division IMarshall University where he worked specifically with middlehitters and blocking. Prior to that position, he was an assistantwomen's volleyball coach at Urbana University, a Division IIuniversity in Ohio.

Prior to accepting the Bridgewater job, Spector was owner anddirector of recruiting for Indy Juniors Volleyball Club inIndianapolis. Indy Juniors is a club with more than 200 volleyballplayers ages 12-18 that competed in tournaments nationwide.

Spector received a bachelor of science degree in appliedkinesiology from San Diego State University. He received his masterof education degree, with an emphasis in coaching, in 2003from Urbana University.

He and his wife Lisa live in Bridgewater with their two children,Nathan, 6, and Solana, 4.
