Matt O'Toole begins his second season as the head men'ssoccer coach at Bridgewater College.

Prior to coming to Bridgewater, O'Toole was an assistant coachat the University of Richmond. In 2006, the Richmond programfinished third in the Atlantic 10 Conference and advanced to thesemifinals of the A-10 Conference tournament.

Prior to his stay in Richmond, O'Toole began his coaching career asan assistant coach at Wheaton College. In his two years as anassistant, Wheaton posted an overall record of 34-9-2. The team wonthe NEWMAC championship in 2003 and advanced to the semifinals atthe NCAA Division III tournament.

O'Toole was a four-year starter at Providence College and was anAll-New England League all-star in 2000. He graduated fromProvidence with a BS in marketing.

O'Toole played five years in the United Soccer League and trainedwith three Major League Soccer clubs. He also trained with theBohemians FC of the Eircom Premier League of Ireland.

O'Toole resides in Bridgewater with his wife Kate.
