Biography

2024: Recorded time in 33 games...batted a career high .325 average which was fourth on the team while was tied for the lead on the team in runs batted in (31)...logged multiple RBIs in 11 games played...at EMU recorded a 4-for-5 day at the plate and scored four runs.

2023: Saw action in 36 games… Hit for a .263 average while tallying career highs in hits, runs, at bats, doubles, walks and RBI… Ranked fourth on the team in walks…. Drove in three runs in a loss to Lynchburg in March.

2022: Played in 20 games... went 12-for-53 at the plate (.226)... Went 3-for-4 against Washington and Lee with a home run in Game 2 of the ODAC Quarterfinals.

2021: Played in 22 games... Hit .257 with 19 hits in 74 at-bats... Second on the team with five doubles... Finished with 16 RBIs... Was 4-for-5 with three RBIs in a win at Guilford.

2020: ODAC All-Academic... Saw action in three games... 1-for-3 at the plate.

High School: First team all-district and all-conference... Made all-state 3A team... 2018 district player of the year... Team won two conference titles and was 2016 state runner-up... Also played basketball... Honor roll all four years.

Personal: Son of Tommy and Elaine Sexton.
