Bridgewater College

Heather Grant was promoted to Associate Athletic Director and Senior Woman Administrator and has served in that role since 2017.

Grant’s duties include assisting the Athletic Director with the overall operation of the athletic program, overseeing NCAA compliance and serving as the Athletics Title IX Deputy, assisting with departmental budget and annual performance reviews, and participating in the hiring of all athletic department personnel. She also manages the athletic training, strength & conditioning and aquatics departments.

Heather Grant had previously been named the Director of Clinical Athletic Training after taking over the reins of the Athletic Training department on an interim basis in 2014-15. She oversees the athletic training staff, maintains student-athlete medical records, coordinates insurance claims and implements the College’s athletic drug testing program.

Grant joined the Bridgewater College athletic training staff as an assistant in 2013-14 for her first season with the Eagles and served as an adjunct instructor in the College's health and human sciences department.

Prior to her time at Bridgewater, Grant was the Head Athletic Trainer at Marywood University. Grant also served previous stints as an athletic trainer at Scranton Preparatory School, Washington and Lee University and the University of Richmond.

In August 2000, Grant earned her Master of Education in Athletic Training from the University of Virginia. Grant received her Bachelor of Science degree in health sciences in 1999 from James Madison University.

Grant resides in Bridgewater with her husband Mic, the Eagles' men's lacrosse coach, and their kids, Olivia, Sadie and Will.
