Devin Young

Devin Young joined the Bridgewater College strength & conditioning staff in March of 2021 and was named the director that summer.

His certifications include CSCCa and NSCA, United States of America Weightlifting Sports Performance, Precision Nutrition Level 1, Reflexive Performance Reset Level 1 and First Aid/CPR & AED.

Young was the interim director of strength & conditioning at North Carolina A&T in 2020-21, where he worked with football, men's basketball, baseball, track & field, bowling and golf. He was previously an assistant strength & conditioning coach there for two years, where he helped create an internship S&C program.

Young was a strength & conditioning intern at James Madison in the summer of 2018, and a graduate assistant coach at Saint Francis University in 2017-18, where he worked with women's swimming, women's water polo, golf, tennis, bowling and cheerleading.

He has also interned with Princeton University football, Eastern Michigan University (assisting with football, basketball and volleyball) and UMASS-Lowell (assisting with women's basketball, women's lacrosse, volleyball, men's soccer, baseball, men's basketball, men's golf and men's track & field).

He graduated from Fitchburg State with a bachelor's degree in exercise and sport science, and earned a master's degree in health science from Saint Francis.
