Head Coach Steve Enright announced the addition of
Chad Seibert to the men's basketball coaching staff prior to the start of the 2022-23 season.
The Eagles earned a top-six seed for the first time since 2014 to advance straight to the quarterfinal round of the ODAC Tournament in the 2022-23 season. BC earned two back-to-back All-ODAC selections for the first time in program history as Smith and Topper earned the accolades for the second time in as many seasons. A 13-13 mark was Bridgewater's best record in six seasons.
Seibert joins Bridgewater's staff as no stranger to the Shenandoah Valley after most recently serving as an assistant coach at nearby Mary Baldwin University.
Prior to his time with the Fighting Squirrels, Seibert first coached at Turner Ashby High School from 2011-2015 as the head boy's varsity basketball coach. After his time with the Knights, Seibert got his first taste of the ODAC as an assistant at Eastern Mennonite University from 2015-2018.
After 2018, Seibert moved across the street from EMU to Eastern Mennonite School where he served as the varsity boy's basketball coach for four years. The Flames tallied a 52-23 record including appearances in back-to-back state championship games under his leadership. He has also been a part of the Virginia Alliance basketball program since 2011 serving as a coach and director.
During his career, Seibert has coached over 100 college student-athletes including 26 who have went on to play at the Division I level.
Seibert attended Ashford University in Clinton, Iowa and attained a B.A. in English. In 2017 he earned his M.S. in Physical Education from Azusa Pacific University.
