Peyton Allen arrives at Bridgewater to serve as the offensive line coach beginning with the 2024 season.
A native of Maryland, Allen joins the coaching staff as the team’s newest defensive line coach following a two-year stint at Illinois College. With the Blueboys, Allen guided three players to all-conference selections including one on the first team and saw the team win the Midwest Conference championship and advancing to the first round of the NCAA postseason. He was part of a defense that ranked ninth in Division III. In addition, Allen was the head JV coach and served as the team’s video coordinator and assistant equipment manager.

Allen returns to his alma mater after graduating from the school in 2019. He was a member of the football team as a linebacker and a running back until his graduation.
In addition to his time at Illinois College, Allen spent time at Texas A&M Commerce as the assistant defensive line coach. He also served as the interim director of football operations and was the JV team’s run game coordinator for the defense. Prior to that, Allen was the inside linebackers coach for Lycoming where he also assisted recruiting efforts inside of Maryland and ran social media accounts. He got his start at the Maine Maritime Academy as the defensive line coach and guided the kickoff unit.
