Meghan Harris was named Bridgewater College's head athletic trainer in June 2022 after spending time as an assistant athletic trainer with the school. She currently works with the volleyball, football, men's basketball, riding and baseball teams.
Harris joined the Bridgewater College athletic training department in the summer of 2016, and worked with several Eagles' programs before becoming a permanent member of the staff.
Harris earned her bachelor's degree in athletic training from Bridgewater and holds a National Athletic Trainers Association membership, Virginia Board of Medicine Athletic Training license, and is a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer.
In addition to her work with the College, Harris works with the Staunton Braves of the Valley Baseball League in the summers.
In the summer of 2016, Harris was an athletic trainer for the University of Virginia's summer camps, where she was responsible for daily prevention, evaluation, treatment and documentation of injuries and illnesses; communications with camp and UVA administration; and daily enforcement of all UVA policies and procedures.
The Broadway High School graduate has also worked as an athletic trainer with Fort Defiance H.S. and Harrisonburg H.S., and as an assistant athletic trainer for football at Broadway.
She worked as a camp and safety coordinator for The Headfirst Companies' Washington Nationals baseball camps in 2015.
