The Bridgewater College Health Center is under the direction of Paige French, RN. Services are available to all students. In case of common illnesses, residential, commuting and part-time students receive the services of the College medical staff while on duty. A need for treatments at other times or referrals for further medical requirements will result in the student needing to pay the cost directly.

Bridgewater Volunteer Rescue Squad responds to emergencies in Bridgewater and the surrounding area. Located just blocks from the College campus and always present at Bridgewater College home football games, their support for the health and welfare of BC students is comforting.

Carilion Family Practice-Bridgewater supports the Bridgewater College Health Center. Doctors Huffman and Ross, and Physician's Assistant Anna Miller, provide care to all Bridgewater students Monday-Friday. With their practice located just blocks from the College campus, students may call for appointments as needed.
