Biography

2015: Played in all 18 games and started 16...had two assists...ODAC All-Academic team.

2014: Team captain...missed season due to injury.

2013: Second-team All-ODAC...started every game for the Eagles...had one assist...part of back line that recorded six shutouts and allowed just one goal in six other games...ODAC All-Academic Team.

 2012: Started all 18 games...scored one goal and added two assists...had both assists in BC's 2-1 victory over Guilford.

2011: Saw action in 16 games with 15 starts... recorded two assists on the season...had his first career assist in a 3-0 win over E&H...assisted on the game-winning goal in a 3-2 victory over Hampden-Sydney...named to 2011-12 ODAC All-Academic team.

High School: 4-year varsity player...2009 honorable mention all-league...2010 2nd-team all-league...Suburban One League all-star selection...2007 and 2008 district tournament quarterfinalist...named to the distinguished honor roll.

Personal: Son of Rick and Lorraine Newsome...brothers Drew and Brandon...majoring in Health & Exercise Science...born May 26, 1993.
