Biography

2016: 2nd Team All-ODAC... Team captain... Led Bridgewater with 4.0 sacks and tied for second on the team with 9.0 tackles for loss... Added 32 tackles, two pass breakups and a 64-yard interception return at Guilford (10/29).

2015: Played in 9 games with 7 starts at defensive tackle... Totaled 24 tackles, 1 sack, 2 TFLs and a forced fumble... Had 6 tackles and a strip-sack in a win at Shenandoah (10/3).

2014: Played in 9 games, starting 4 of them… Recorded 17 tackles… Had 4.5 sacks and 7.5 tackles for loss, both third-best on the team.

2013: Did not compete.

Prep: Three-time all-district linebacker...Also competed on the offensive line and was a two-time all-district lineman...Competed on a Mountaineers squad that won the 2010 district title.

Personal: Son of Paul Utz...Has one sibling, Jeannie...Born January 11, 1995.
