Personal: Son of Larry and Lisa Thompson...brother Adam...majoring in Health & Physical Education.

2011: Transferred to Bridgewater from Lenoir Community College...named second-team All-ODAC and third team All-South Region...led Eagles in hitting with a .342 average...finsihed with nine doubles, two homers and 16 RBIs...posted a .953 fielding percentage.

High School: Played at Waynesboro H.S. where 2008 team won district title and finished as regional runner-up...state semis in 2007 and 2008...2007 first team all-district and all-region, second team all-state...2008 first team all-district and all-region, honorable mention all-state...batting average higher than .500 in both 2007 and 2008.
