Biography

2014: Made 13 relief appearances and posted a 2-0 record with one save... had a 5.17 ERA...ODAC All-Academic.

2013: Made 15 relief appearances for the Eagles...was 1-0 with one save and a 2.77 ERA...struck out 23 in 26 innings...ODAC All-Academic Team.

 2012: Made 11 appearances out of the bullpen...finished with a 1-1 record and a 3.97 ERA...notched his first career win with 1.1 innings of scoreless relief in a a 13-12 win over nationally-ranked CNU (4/9)...named to 2011-12 ODAC All-Academic team.

2011: Finished season as the team's closer...led the team with three saves...posted a 1.96 ERA...struck out 15 batters in 23 innings...picked up his first career save in a 4-3 win at W&L (4/5)...picked up a save in the ODAC tournament in a 7-4 win over W&L (4/21)...made his first collegiate appearance in a loss to Shenandoah (3/2).

High School: Played for Freedom H.S...was a Howard Dippa All-Star and a NORCO All-Star...member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Son of Steve and Barb Slanovec...siblings Jeff and Jennifer...majoring in business...born Aug. 14, 1992.
