BC added to the lead early in the second quarter as Lexi Francis extended the advantage with her tally just over a minute into the period. - Bridgewater nearly struck within the opening two minutes again, but Francis hit the post with her shot. BC had a penalty corner a few moments later, and it led to a similar result as Maylynn Watson found the back of the net on an assist from Casey Grell to make it 4-1 with 10 minutes to play. DePauw pushed for offense and was rewarded as a second-chance effort on a penalty corner from Ella Mickey made it a 4-2 edge.
