How It Happened
  • Bridgewater got on the board just under minutes in as Evan Mader buried a feed from Luke Wendler to make it 1-0. BC stretched the lead with a strike from Issac Beals and continued to roll with six tallies over the next 4:36 with multiple goals from Beals and Wendler, while Finnegan Pulich and Jake Wagner helped make it a 7-0 lead with 6:14 to go in the quarter. Randolph failed to get anything going offensively after empty BC possessions and Owen Cogan was able to capitalize for the Eagles with the game's eight tally with 4:14 to go in the frame. Wagner and Beals added to the lead over the final minutes of the quarter to make it 10-0 15 minutes in.
  • The Eagles opened the second quarter where they ended the first as Wendler buried a shot to make it 11-0 under a minute into the quarter. Wendler added his fourth and fifth tallies of the night to go along with a goal from Cogan to make it 14-0. Randolph registered its first shot later in the quarter, but did not capitalize. Alex Garbarino scored a quick coast-to-coast goal after scooping up a ground ball to make it 15-0 and Cogan's hat trick tally off a dish from Wendler made it 16-0 at the intermission.
  • Ryan Linn got the Eagles on the board first in the third stanza and dished to Wagner less than a minute later to make it 18-0. Randolph had a man-up opportunity midway through the quarter, but the Eagles defense fended it off the chance and turned it into a pair of goals as Gavin Brown and Blake Sherin scored to push the lead to 20-0. Brown quickly tallied a hat trick as his two tallies with five minutes to play in the third continued to stretch the advantage. Jack Nugent and Conner Jeffries added to the lead to make it 24-0with 2:39 to play in the frame, but Randolph finally got on the board as Leyton Brightly found the back of the net. Hunter Gray scored twice before the end of the quarter to make it 26-1 heading to the fourth quarter.
  • Sherin got the action started in the fourth with an unassisted tally under 90 seconds into the frame and a score from Oliver Nowell-Shortt on a dish by Drew Huber stretched the gap even further. Randolph got back on the scoreboard shortly after as Brightly found Ethan Caldwell to make it 28-2. Chris McBroom registered the Eagles final tally on an assist by Henry Wicker to seal the deal.
