GREENSBORO, N.C.. -
Corey Beshoar continued his hot start to his sophomore campaign as the Bridgewater College men's tennis team fell to Guilford 6-1 on Friday.
The doubles point was hotly contested. Guiflord quickly won at No. 3, but the Eagles packed a punch at No. 1 and No. 2. Beshoar and
Matthew Leonard fell 1-6 at the No. 1 spot, but
Mark Gordon and
Eli Morela picked up a 6-3 victory at No. 2 as the Quakers took a 1-0 advantage in the match score.
Beshoar was the highlight in singles action as he took the first set 6-3 at the No. 2 spot and was stuck in a battle in the second set. The sophomore picked up the late service break to take the second set 7-5 and get the Eagles on the board. Gordon and
