FOREST, Va. - The Bridgewater College football team had seven student-athletes named to the Old Dominion Athletic Conference all-conference teams, the league office announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Ian Browne,
Agustin Miguel,
Andrew Brown,
Aaron Nice and
Aiden Grefe headlined the awards for BC as they took home spots on the first team.
Shalin Green and
Elijah Choy each took home an at-large selection on the third team as well.Â
Browne earns his first football honor after an impressive year as the Eagles' top receiving target. The Maryland native led the ODAC in receptions per game and ranked in the top three in the conference in receiving yards, receiving yards per game and receiving touchdowns. Browne's senior season ranks 10th most in program history with 650 yards through the air and sixth in total receptions (49).
Miguel earns a first-team honor after his first season serving as the Eagles' primary kicker. The Staunton, Va. native led the ODAC in field goals per game (0.86) and field goal percentage (85.7%). His efficiency ranks him second-best in program history in field goal percentage. Miguel tied the program record for most field goals made in a single game when he drilled three in BC's overtime loss at Washington and Lee. Perhaps the most impressive stat for Miguel from 2025 was his distance. The junior was 2-for-3 from 40+ yards, with the lone miss being just wide, with plenty of distance, against Hampden-Sydney.
Brown was a constant force up front for the BC defense. A third-team selection last year, he added on to that in 2025 with 18 total tackles. Brown registered 3.5 TFL in the middle of the Eagles' defensive line to anchor one of the ODAC's top units against the rush.
Nice returned to the BC football program after a year away and did not skip a beat. The Stuarts Draft product's first game back saw him set a conference-best with 4 solo stops behind the line, and he tied the second-most TFL in a single game in program history with 4.5. Nice's 8.5 sacks in 2025 rank sixth-most in a single campaign in BC history, while his career marks are among the highest in the program across the board. He finishes his career second in sacks (24.5), fourth in tackles for loss (48.5), fourth in solo tackles (142) and ninth in total tackles, just behind his father, Spencer Nice, with 242.Â
Grefe reached the national stage in his first season as the Eagles' primary punter. The local product led the ODAC and ranked fourth nationally with 434. yards per punt. That same mark sets a new program record for the best single-season punting average. Grefe had a season-long 68-yard punt at Susquehanna in a game that saw him tally three punts of 50+ yards. His 364 total yards against the River Hawks is the second-most for an Eagle in a game, and his 52.0 yards per attempt set a new program record in that contest.Â
Green was one of the ODAC's top pass rushers in 2025, coming off the edge. Green ranked fifth in the ODAC in sacks per game (0.5) and was one of 10 different Eagles to recover a fumble in 2025. The Dale City, Va. native tallied 32 total tackles in his senior season.
Choy anchored the Eagles' secondary in his senior season. Hailing from Maryland, he was also one of 10 BC players to recover a fumble this season and had a clutch interception in the Eagles' upset win over No. 25 Hampden-Sydney. Choy set a career high in tackles with 48 in his fourth season.
BC finished 3-6 overall and 4-4 in ODAC play after its season came to a premature end due to an administrative forfeit by Guilford in what would have been its final contest.Â
