BRIDGEWATER, Va. - Bridgewater College women's volleyball took down No. 6 Guilford in straight sets Tuesday night in the ODAC quarterfinals Tuesday night.
The Eagles head to the semifinals on Thursday, Nov. 13 with time to be determined.

How It Happened

BCE put it all out there for the quarterfinals Tuesday night against the Quakers. In the first set, the Eagles swiped hard and fast at open looks on the gym floor. With an early 3-0 lead, the Eagles continued plunging away landing open blows as Reagan Stoop struck one down at 18-12. Faith DePew added more to the punch with a 25-21 set score.

In the third set, the Eagles maintained a solid lead throughout, especially using the help from Gabby Atwell and Maya Veselinovic at 14-11. Claire Griffith pounded the next attacking sequence to make it 20-16. The lead was held the rest of the way for a 25-20 final set score.
