ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. - Bridgewater College women's swimming capped off another strong outing to start out the young season at the St. Mary's quad meet with the highest total of the day with 157 points among three other teams Saturday.
In competition, Peyton Lawrence finished on top to highlight the day for the Eagles with wins in the 200-yard medley relay, the 100 butterfly (1:04.74), and the 100 Breast (1:13.01). Shortly after, the Eagles kept finishing with strong times. McKenna Curry won the 100 IM with a time of 1:05.25 and following closely behind was Lawrence in third.
Tessa Gorby came up big in the 50 Free to take the event win with a time of 25.30 and Mia Flory finished with a fourth-place result of 26.95. Not much time passed until more wins came Bridgewater's way. Anabelle Dragan won the 100 Back (1:05.79) and Flory took second (1:06.92).
Grace Warren then landed a first-place result in the 500 Free with a time of 5:44.70. To round out the day, Dragan took first in the 200 IM with a personal best time of 2:25.96.
