BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Bridgewater College women's cross country team competed in the Open Women's 6k at the Paul Short Run Saturday morning. The Eagles ran in a field of almost 500 competitors coming from DI, DII, DIII, and NAIA institutions.
Freshman runner Olivia Morra finished inside the top 40, and was the first Division III runner to finish. The Spotsylvania, Va. Native clocked a time of 22:19.5, a personal best of her collegiate career, and the ninth best time in the women's 6k in program history.
Regan Robinson finished 238th with a time of 24:20.2 Paige Hiserman finished 269th, clocking a time of 24:44.3. Molly Williamson clocked a time of 25:06.8. Annah Wood recorded a time of 25:39.6. Hannah Knudson rounded out the BC finishers with a time of 30:06.1.
BC takes a two-week hiatus before traveling to Spartanburg, S.C. to compete in the Upstate Invitational, hosted by USC Upstate. The women's 6k begins at 9 a.m.
