BRIDGEWATER, Va. - Bridgewater College women's volleyball took it to five sets to secure the win over Randolph-Macon in ODAC conference action at home Saturday afternoon.

Then, right back at it, the Eagles returned to their offensive strengths as Reagan Stoop came in for the closing kill. BCE finished the set off with its most kills in the match with 15 to RMC's 12. The third set went to Bridgewater, 25-21.

As the fifth set rolled on, both teams began a back-and-forth play style. Ashley Rutherford nailed two service aces for Bridgewater to turn the momentum over and as RMC kept it close, BCE held firm to close out the fifth set, 15-12.

Both teams carried out nearly even kill totals as Randolph-Macon had 59 and Bridgewater had 55. As even as it was, Bridgewater certainly led in the block totals collecting 11 to RMC's seven, respectively.

Sophomore Reagan Stoop led the Eagles offensively with 27 kills, a season high. Also, Stoop rounded out the day with another double-double adding 25 digs to her stat sheet (eight total this season, four against ODAC teams).
