How It Happened
- Ferrum had the first chances of the game, but a save by Charles Schweinefuss in the fifth minute kept the game scoreless.
- BC had their first shot on goal 20 minutes in as Riley Queen rifled a shot on goal that was saved by Arzillo.teams fired shots throughout the half with Ali Malik firing the last one just before the horn.
- Gavin Kast had a solid chance at the start of the second half, but missed high of the goal. Queen fired another shot on goal in the 53rd minte, but another stop by Ferrum kept the game scoreless.
- The intensity ramped up late as both teams got more aggressive. BC had multiple chances late including in the final minute as Alex Raudales had his shot turned away.
Match Notes
- The Eagles' offense was led by Queen with seven shots including four on goal. Will Flores, Trey Widrick and Connor Campbell all registered multiple shots as well.
- Schweinefuss stopped the three shots he faced while Arzillo made seven stops for the Panthers.
- Bridgewater held a 23-10 edge in shots and a 7-3 advantage in shots on goal.
