RUSTBURG, Va. – The Bridgewater Equestrian team fell to No. 2 Lynchburg 9-1 on Friday afternoon.
 
The Hornets started by getting the opening four points over fences, but Willow Wright got the Eagles on the board as her 80 on Tommy made it 4-1 heading to the flat.
 
Lynchburg swept the flat portion of the event, despite a nice showing from Margaret Brown as she earned an 80.
 
The Eagles are back in action on Nov. 9 with a return trip to Centenary.
