Lauren Roberts and Kaity Petersheim each scored with Roberts recording a second goal with over 10 minutes still to go in the fourth as the Eagles took a 4-0 lead. Faith Bowlin finally got the Cougars on the board but Faith Bartos and Aunnie Hacker connected to regain a four-goal edge. Roberts completed a first-quarter hat trick before Hacker got her first goal of the game to set the score at 7-1. Elizabeth Peasley cut into the lead with 10 seconds to go in the first as BC led 7-2 after 15 minutes.
- Jenna Entsminger started a terrific offensive day with her first goal at the 13:57 mark of the second quarter in a man-up situation. Peasley followed with a goal, but Entsminger scored again, also man-up, to make the score 9-3 with 9:21 to go in the half. Peasley scored her third goal of the half but Caris Cianelli gave the Eagles' their 10th goal of the game and a 10-4 lead. Bowlin got the Cougars within five, but Petersheim added another in the last minute of the half to give the Eagles an 11-5 lead at the break.
- In the third quarter, Bowlin scored once again to try and keep AU in the contest, but consecutive goals from Hacker and Venit -- off an assist from Kaitlyn Clark -- held on to a 13-6 edge. Peasley made history with her fourth goal of the game as she is now tied for the third-most goals in Division III women's lacrosse history. Cianelli left Peasley no time to celebrate as she scored to make it 14-7 and Roberts got a man-up tally to go up by eight. Entsminger notched back-to-back scores less than 30 seconds apart as the Eagles hit a running clock with a 17-7 advantage. Bowlin scored man-down to stop the clock, but Grace Pietro scored off a feed from Hacker to enter the fourth with a 10-goal lead
