GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Bridgewater College women's tennis team picked up a 9-0 victory over Guilford on Friday afternoon in ODAC play.

Th Eagles opened the match by taking all three doubles points.
Emma Nesselrodt and
Ryan Roeber picked up an 8-6 win at the top spot, while
Malena Hoover and
Emily Wylie squeaked out an 8-6 victory of their own at the No. 2 spot.

In Singles action Nesselrodt was locked in another battle at the top spot. The senior dug deep with a pair of late service breaks to take home a 7-5, 6-4 victory.

Emily Daigneault did almost the exact same at the No. 2 spot as the fifth-year senior used her experience to pick up a 6-4, 7-5 win.

Hoover was locked in a back-and-forth opening set but went on a massive run in the tiebreak to take the opening set 7-6 (3). The senior cruised through the second set closing the match out 6-2.

Roeber and Wylie wrapped up the match as the two dropped just one game combined at the No. 4 and No.5 spots respectively.

BC is back in action on Wednesday as Randolph comes to town in ODAC action. First serve is slated for 2 p.m.
