RUSTBURG, Va. – The Bridgewater College equestrian team dropped a competition against No. 1 Lynchburg 9-1 on Friday afternoon.

The Eagles earned a point in the fences phase with the help of Kelsey Quinn edging out her opponent 81-78. The Hornets took the next four points to win the event.

Moving to the flat phase, Lynchburg outscored BC 5-0 in the event to take victory in the competition for a final score of 798-698.

Bridgewater will travel to No. 3 Sacred Heart Nov. 4 for a 10 am start time.
