Ali Malik had a chance as well following an R-MC corner kick, but it was blocked. Randolph-Macon registered its first shot a few moments later as it was blocked as well leading to a corner kick. After the failed corner, BC went on the counter as Malik fired another shot that missed high and wide.
- The Yellow Jackets got on the scoreboard in the 20th minute as Kodi Tannor found Chazz Jones you gave R-MC the early 1-0 advantage. Randolph-Macon looked to extend the advantage and had two shots that did not make it to the target. Trey Widrick got BC back on the attack as he got a shot off of a free kick that missed wide.
- Once again, the two teams traded chances but did not register shots on net or even shots near the crease until Brady Wise fired a shot just wide. Randolph-Macon had a shot of its own in the 43rd minute and Cole Dunbar responded at the horn, but his shot missed high and wide.
- Neither team registered a shot until 20 minutes into the second half when a Yellow Jacket Strike found the post. BC flipped the field off of the goal kick that followed, and Malik put a shot on target that was saved by Braithwaite. R-MC slowly swung the momentum back in their favor and capitalized as Jones found the back of the net again to make it 2-0 for the home side with 18 minutes to play.
- Each side exchanged free kicks and BC slowly earned a chance in the final minutes as Gavin Kast rifled a shot that was saved by Braithwaite. A yellow card on the home team allowed for another Bridgewater opportunity in the final minute but the Eagles did not capitalize.
