Box Score ASHLAND, Va. - No. 9 Randolph-Macon blistered the nets at a 63.6 percent pace Wednesday night to pull away from Bridgewater College, 97-55 in ODAC action.
The Eagles scored first on a layup by freshman Jalil Langston, but Yellow Jackets' guard Buzz Anthony knocked down a pair of jumpers to put the home team ahead to stay.
Bridgewater was still within striking distance when Liam Caswell connected on a 3-pointer to pull the Eagles to within 20-12 as the first half approached the midway point.
Over the next four minutes, the Yellow Jackets broke the game open with a 17-0 run, making the score 37-12.
Caswell led the Eagles with 13 points and Chandler Murray added 12. Davrion Grier scored nine points and led the Eagles with eight rebounds.
Josh Talbert led four Randolph-Macon players in double figures with 22 points.
Bridgewater is back on the road Saturday when they make the long trip to Emory & Henry.
