BRIDGEWATER, Va. – On Senior Day for the

Bridgewater got things started with a perfect doubles slate led
by senior Megan Mathias and fellow senior Alissa Michael's

for a team-best five doubles wins on the year, which is the most of
any team which has played at number one this season.
At number two, Ally McConaughy and Emily Schweitzer posted their
team leading 16th doubles win of the year by an 8-3
score. McConaughy and Schweitzer's 16 wins is the highest
wins total for an individual doubles duo in school history.
Bridgewater freshmen Miranda Donovan and Rita Murphy were
victorious at number three by an 8-4 tally.
In singles play, Mathias was a 6-2, 6-2 winner at number one,
while freshmen Olivia Stone picked up a 7-5, 6-1 victory at number
two in the tightest match of the day.

38th career win, placing her just one win shy of second
on the career wins list.
Junior Morgan McGhee recorded a 6-1, 6-4 victory at number four,
while freshman Amanda Gorby was a 6-2, 6-1 winner at number five.
Gorby currently has 13 wins on the season, which is good enough to

number six.
Bridgewater is back in action on Tuesday when Sweet Briar comes
