Bridgewater, Va - Roanoke's Gina Valles scored six goals for the
Maroons and helped lead her team to a 15-6 victory over the
Bridgewater Eagles in Tuesday's ODAC game.
Bridgewater's Mary Robinson scored the first goal of the game
but Roanoke pulled away from the Eagles in the first half,
outscoring them 10-2. Valles scored four of her six goals
with Paige Mason adding two for the Maroons. Kate Moulton and
Mary Robinson scored the Eagles' two goals for the half.
Bridgewater came out strong for the second half, keeping the
Maroons to only five goals, while scoring four for
themselves. The Maroons would end up winning 15-6. This
loss ends the Eagles' four game winning streak.
Moulton and Caitlin Costello led the Eagles in goals with two
each with Robinson and Megan Bach adding one apiece.

Cartwright had three assists in the game.
Roanoke's Gina Valles scored six goals. Teammates
Meegan Rourke, Carolyn Miller, and Paige Mason had two goals
each.
Bridgewater's Colleen
Schwind recorded 16 saves in the game.
Roanoke's Laura Zdziarski had 5 saves.
Bridgewater will be back in action tomorrow, April 14th, when
they host Hollins University. Game time is set for 4:30
pm.
