The Roanoke Maroons took advantage of a cold-shooting first half by Bridgewater College to take a 67-48 victory over the Eagles on Tuesday.

Bridgewater made just 25 percent of its shots in the first half. Roanoke jumped out to a 20-5 lead in the first 10 minutes and led 38-22 at the half,

The Eagles could get no closer than 14 points in the second half as the Maroons finished off the 67-48 victory.

Nikki Sydnor led the Eagles with 14 points and nine rebounds.

Bridgewater is now 5-6 overall and 3-4 in the ODAC.
